Using the facts of the day as the bridge, Lime energy assists us in finding our voice and using it powerfully to articulate our convictions and opinions. Lime Exercises 1. Limeade, Key Lime Pie, lime sorbet...indulge your palate in Lime energy this week!
2. How easily does Lime energy flow through your veins? On a scale of 1-10, how comfortable are you at the following activities: · Keeping communication lines open with others. · Expressing conviction, beliefs, and opinions powerfully. · Backing up your opinions with facts that you have gathered and woven together. · Listening to others, drawing out their voice · Appreciating other’s opinions, even when they differ from your own. The theme here revolves around how much you find your voice and use it. If you feel healthy in this area, go celebrate with exercise #1. If think you could use some Lime medicine, move on to Exercise #3 and/or #4...then reward yourself by doing Exercise #1. 3. One of the simplest ways to activate sleepy Lime energy is to connect with old family or friends. You know…those people that cross your mind throughout the year, leaving you with the ever-passing thought, “I should get in touch with them soon!” Well, this week, with a little Lime in your back pocket, do it! 4. Find several opportunities this week in which you can practice your Lime skills. · Engage in lively conversation with a special family member. · Have a debate with a friend over a current political situation that you are well informed about. · Be forthright about sharing an opinion you have with someone you don’t normally speak up to. · Share a belief you have in a group of people with which you tend to lose your voice. Any of these situations, or others that present themselves, are good avenues for expressing your convictions strongly and powerfully. Give it a try. Get those electrical charges in your communication system sparking! 5. Visualization: Sit or lie down in a comfortable position when you know you won’t be interrupted for a few minutes. Close your eyes and breathe deeply and slowly. Gradually let your body relax. Visualize the Color Lime. See this Color vibrating and pulsing as a ball of light over the area just above your top lip, below your nose. As you inhale, alternate saying and singing this affirmation, either silently to yourself or out loud: “I express my convictions powerfully.” As you exhale, make the Lime sound, “DUH” (as in “dust”), either silently to yourself or out loud. If negative thoughts arise as a reaction to the affirmations, simply notice them and allow them to flow away, as you see the Lime ball of light gradually spreading out from above your lips until it fills your whole body and extends to form a bubble around your body. Continue with the affirmations and sounds for 10 rounds. When you are finished, slowly and gently bring your awareness back to the room, feeling Lime energy tingling in all your cells.
