The main reasons for pink and blue (sky blue specifically) during child times is the connection of pink to reproduction and the heart chakra (breast feeding and nurturing) and sky blue controlls hormonal balance and lives at the womb, therefore it easy to see how these colors dominate a childs early wardrobe and decorations of the baby room.
